Dear Group Members

Thank you for signing up to the Group! I am delighted to see that we are already the largest group on the site and growing all the time. I will continue promoting the Group to conservation people and others during the coming weeks. If you know of online lists and sites aimed at archive and library professionals researchers and students in your own country, do please announce the formation of this Group and encourage people to join.

I have changed the Group introductory statement a little to encourage people for whom English is not a first or even a second language - one of the aims of this Group is to cross both professional and language barriers online.

If you have any questions or information to post on our Group site, do please do so and we can begin a regular exchange. We can post file attachments on the site as a way of publishing or disseminating information and I will soon post some conference proceedings which I hope will be of interest to some and encourage others to do the same.
